人気ぽっちゃりモデルのアシュリー・グラハムは、意外にもいまだに水着になるのが恥ずかしいという。
最初は恥ずかしいけれど…
ポジティヴな発言が人気のぽっちゃりモデル、アシュリー・グラハム。普段から水着での撮影などを行っているアシュリーだけに、人前で水着姿になることなど慣れっこなのかと思いきや、実は違ったよう。
「もちろん、ほかの女の子たちと同様に、ビーチとかプールに行ったときに『オー、羽織っているものを取らなくちゃいけないのね。なんてこと』って（恥ずかしく）なったりするわ」。
People誌の動画インタヴューでそう語ったアシュリーに、インタビュアーの男性は「まさか、君はそんな風に感じたりしないでしょ」とびっくり。それに対し女性インタビュアーは、「すべての女性が同じように感じていると思うわ」と女性の気持ちを代弁した。
しかしアシュリーは、一度水着になってしまえば、その気持ちもどこかへ行ってしまうともコメントした。
「そのあとは、『オー、いいわ。（羽織ってるものを）脱ぐわよ』ってなるのよ。そしたら突然（水着姿でも）気楽な気持ちになって、『オッケー、もう1杯ピニャコラーダを飲もうかな』って思うの」。
