「『ジョーズ』そっくりに撮りたくて…」超巨大サメに大接近した勇者
A photographer got up close and personal with a massive 15ft tiger shark to get pictures reminiscent of the iconic poster for Steven Spielberg's shark attack movie Jaws. Michael Dornellas, who runs an ocean safari company, used a crate full of bait to get within touching distance of the enormous female shark off Tiger Beach in the Bahamas. He was able to snap a picture from below the shark's body that allowed its head to fill the lens, like in the poster for the 1975 movie starring Roy Scheider, Richard Dreyfuss and Robert Shaw. バハマの海に潜って4メートル越えのサメに遭遇した1人の恐れ知らずの水中カメラマンがすごい。
映画『ジョーズ』のポスターそっくりな写真を撮りたい
サメの中でも人を食べる危険が高いと言われるイタチザメがバハマの海で目撃された。そんな4メートル超えの巨大イタチザメに遭遇したのは、1人の水中カメラマン。
凶暴な巨大サメを前に、普通なら恐怖でおびえてしまうけれど、この水中カメラマンはひるむことなく大接近。それどころか、その巨体に触って写真撮影を開始した。
巨大サメの写真を撮った理由は、なんとスティーヴン・スピルバーグ監督の名作『ジョーズ』のアイコニックなポスターそっくりな写真を撮りたいから。
危険をかえりみずに写真を撮る水中カメラマンの信念がすごいのか、それとも彼をここまで駆り立てた映画がすごいのか。
どちらにしても、良い子はマネしないでね。
